Terms of Service

By creating an account or otherwise using PrintStash (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time as described in Section 9.

You must create an account to use PrintStash. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use the Service.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload files you do not have the right to store or share;
• Upload malware, or files designed to exploit slicer software or other users' systems;
• Attempt to circumvent storage quotas, rate limits, or authentication;
• Use the Service to store or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, or violates the rights of others; or
• Probe, scan, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service's infrastructure.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice.

You retain all ownership rights to the 3D model files, metadata, thumbnails, and other content you upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and serve Your Content solely for the purpose of operating the Service for you (e.g., generating thumbnails, parsing metadata, and providing slicer-open links).

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and licenses (including any third-party model licenses) to upload and store Your Content.

PrintStash offers a free tier and paid subscription tiers with additional storage, billed monthly through our payment processor (Stripe). By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. If you cancel or your payment fails, your account enters a 30-day grace period during which your library remains intact. We will send reminder emails before the grace period ends. If the subscription is not reinstated, your library is permanently deleted at the end of the grace period and your account reverts to the free tier's storage limit.

Files you delete are moved to a trash area and retained for 30 days, after which they are permanently and irrecoverably deleted from our storage. Archiving a file hides it from your default views but does not remove it from your storage usage.

We are not a backup service. While we take reasonable measures to protect Your Content, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of files that are important to you.

PrintStash provides links that open files directly in third-party slicer applications (such as OrcaSlicer or Bambu Studio) that you have separately installed on your device. These applications are not operated by PrintStash, and we are not responsible for their behavior, availability, or compatibility. A direct download is always available as a fallback.

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably practicable. Upon termination, the retention and deletion rules described in Section 6 apply to any remaining content.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRINTSTASH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
